Hang in there, I&#8217;ll be trying to catch up with 2 maybe 3 stories a day.\u00a0 On the right there&#8217;s a button to see and show any story you may have missed. I&#8217;ll title each as I go along so you&#8217;ll know where we are at any time. Lots to tell&#8230;and show! <em>And even a place for you to leave comments as well!<\/em><\/p>\r\n<hr \/>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><strong><em>Here we go&#8230;<\/em><\/strong>We got to Dulles only to realize after Sarah dropped us off and left for home\u2026 that the battery charger for my Nikon DSLR, that I thought I bought, wasn\u2019t. So, I had to buy one at Best Buy for $40 &amp; get a Lyft for $25 just to buy the charger I thought I\u2019d gotten for $14. Oh well. But out of the mishap, I got a driver from Turkey, who spoke very little English, he\u2019d only been in the country for a year (w\/ his son who\u2019s in school in DC) &amp; only spoke Turkish. He had Google Translate and we communicated via the app! A wild experience! And to make matters better\u2026 he not only took me from the hotel to BestBuy but took me back as well &amp; didn\u2019t charge me more!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Today was wild! Things that will be good for you when you travel next\u2026although we had our Global One Entry which includes TSA Pre-Check\u2026they\u2019ve now got something new called <strong><em>\u201cClear\u201d<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; where you only use your face\u2026it\u2019s awesome because we had a personal escort all the way through security, who walked us quickly through all phases of clearing security.\u00a0 We didn\u2019t have to remove liquids, shoes or anything! It was like being someone famous\u2026so worth it for the zero stress!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-64 aligncenter\" style=\"width: 83px;\" src=\"http:\/\/fonh.com\/sacruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Mom-in-COF-lounge-1.png\" alt=\"Mom at Capital One Lounge\" height=\"116\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fonh.com\/sacruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Mom-in-COF-lounge-1.png 335w, https:\/\/fonh.com\/sacruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Mom-in-COF-lounge-1-215x300.png 215w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 335px) 100vw, 335px\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>We then found the Capital One Lounge at IAD! Oh my god! What an experience! Free w\/ our Venture X card. Beautiful surroundings, free buffet, free liquor, free snacks!\u00a0We departed IAD on time and are now in an affiliate Capital One Lounge, The ATL Lounge\u2026still free food and drinks, but certainly not the feeling of exclusivity as we felt in D.C.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-62 aligncenter\" style=\"width: 92px;\" src=\"http:\/\/fonh.com\/sacruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Dad-in-COF-Lounge.png\" alt=\"Dad in COF Lounge\" height=\"127\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fonh.com\/sacruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Dad-in-COF-Lounge.png 361w, https:\/\/fonh.com\/sacruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Dad-in-COF-Lounge-218x300.png 218w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 361px) 100vw, 361px\" \/><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\" style=\"text-align: left;\">In a few hours we\u2019ll be officially on our way to Buenos Aires. We\u2019re having a great time!
